SAG Awards: Fashion Review

On Saturday the good and the great of the big and small screen came together to honor each other at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in L.A. This awards show red carpet fashion is a bit more fun and relaxed with a lot of color here's a round up of all the night gowns.

Winners are grinners: Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence and Lupita Nyong'o (from left) were on-trend in their gowns in various shades of blue as they hit the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards held in Los Angeles on Saturday
Amy Adams dress was classy and sophisticated and pure Hollywood glamour. I love the color against her skin tone and her hair is perfection

The new Queen of the Red Carpet. Jennifer Lawrence stunned in a sequined Dior dress. This suits her way more than her Golden Globes dress and it is much more age appropriate and I love the mix of colors through the dress also, Stunning

Winners are grinners: Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence and Lupita Nyong'o (from left) were on-trend in their gowns in various shades of blue as they hit the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards held in Los Angeles on Saturday
Lupita Nyong'o does it again. This Gucci dress is utter perfection. I adore the color against her skin and the detail on the neck is divine. This woman has unbelievable style, I mean this look is flawless

'I feel very Jessica Rabbit': Sofia Vergara put her enviable figure on full display in her dazzling silver embellished Donna Karan Atelier gown with low-cut back detail, worn with staggering Victorian diamond and emerald Amrapali jewels and cascading curled locks
My ultimate girl crush, Sofia Vergara brought the sexy in this jaw dropping Donna Karen dress. I love how she always brings the drama to her outfits, she always Wows me and this is no different. Gorgeous

Always stylish: Claire Danes (left) wore an unusual layered cream and black Vionnet frock with dark blue metallic detail and a sheer black overlay, while Meryl Streep went for a much more simplistic look in her black off-the-shoulder tea-length frock and matching black accessories
Claire Dannes wore a unique Vionnet dress. I think although it's not her usual style this dress is cool and I really like the front. I like it but it's nothing compared to her previous efforts on the Red Carpet

Leading ladies: Modern Family's Julie Bowen (left) chose a 'very fashion-forward' strapless Carolina Herrera gown, Emilia Clarke (centre) of Games Of Thrones was stylish in a metallic one-shouldered Calvin Klein Collection dress, while American Horror Story's Sarah Paulson picked a fun and flirty voluminous white Rochas frock
Julie Bowen wore a unique Carolina Herrera dress. I actually like the dress and I like the warm colors and it's very SAG awards, casual and a little different.

'Where else do you get the chance to dress up other than at these things?': Cate told E! News that she 'loves costume' and the opportunity to get glammed up for these red carpet events
Cate Blanchette wore a baby pink Givenchy dress to the event. I will be honest pink sequins are hard to pull off if you are over the age of 10. Her look last week was so regal and glamorous this is a disappointment. Without the sequins this would be nice but the sequins bring it down

Green with envy: Sandra Bullock shone in her strapless shimmery emerald Lanvin frock that tapered in and featured a bow waist detail and a front slit, which she teamed with strappy metallic peep-toe Jimmy Choos and a matching Roger Vivier minaudière
Sandra Bullock wore a Lanvin  dress to the event. I love the color and the slit but I am not a huge fan of the material. I think it's a little rough but I love the shoes and clutch

All hail Khaleesi! Game of Thrones' Mother Of Dragons, Emilia Clarke, kept it simple in her metallic bronze one-shouldered Calvin Klein Collection gown, which she expertly showcased at every angle
Emilia Clarke wore a simple bronze Calvin Klein dress. I love how simple but striking this is. All over sequins can be tacky but this is classy, chic and how to do this kind of look. Very Impresses

Surprise! Julia Roberts' pink outfit actually turned out to be a Valentino jumpsuit, which she teamed with silver YSL heels, a matching Roger Vivier clutch and Wilfredo Rosado earrings
Julia Roberts wore a pink Valentine Jumpsuit. I love this. Last week she went for a different look last week and I love how she choose to make another fashion twist here. 30 years on the red carpet she is still taking risks and I really admire that and I think she looks great here

Single life suits her! Kelly Osbourne looked happy and healthy as she arrived on the red carpet for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where she was reporting for E! News, dressed in a figure-flattering pleated midnight blue Jenny Packham gown
Kelly Osborne wore a striking Zac Posen to the event and she has never looked better. The fit is great, the color is stunning and the jewelry goes so well , a great look from the star

Modern women: Modern Family's Ariel Winter (left) looked very mature for her age - she turns 16 on January 28 - in her glam Badgley Mischka gown, while E! News host Giuliana Rancic stood out in her silk radiant orchid Basil Soda dress, which she dubbed the 'colour of the year'
Arial Winter wore a Badgley Mischka floral gown to the event and the one thing we are all talking about is the 15 year old's cleavage. It's a bit to much in my opinion. I think she is trying to be similar to Sofia Vergara, Other than that I think the floral gown would be age appropriate and look really nice but the cleavage is overpowering

Daring: Pregnant Kerry Washington (left) flashed her midriff in custom Prada - featuring a fuchsia silk gabardine blouse and midnight blue high-waisted skirt - a Rani Zakhem-clad Maria Menounos (centre) flashed her toned pins and strappy Jimmy Choos, while Jane Krakowski stood out in asymmetrical mint green Roland Mouret
Kerry Washington wore a custom Prada top and skirt. I love how she is pregnant and showing her midriff.  She looks great and she looks like a proud mama to be, Fabulous

Lovely ladies: Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery (left) chose black and white colourblock J Mendel as she said it's 'like a tuxedo, but a dress', while New Girl's Hannah Simone (centre) was ethereal in her duck egg draped tulle Marchesa gown with feather flowered neckline
Hannah Simone wore a dreamy Marchesa dress. I love the neckline and how dreamy and princess like it is. The color is great and her hair is amazing

Simply stunning: Jennifer Garner wowed in her belted midnight blue strapless Max Mara column gown with train feature, teamed with matching David Webb earrings
Jennifer Garner Max Mara is nice but it is a bit dull, I think she could have gone a bit more colorful

Va-va-voom! Isla Fisher (left) went for Old Hollywood glamour in silver satin Oscar de la Renta, Elisabeth Rohm (centre) stunned in her blush lace Marchesa column gown with all-over crystal and 3D silk-chiffon flower detail, while Gretchen Mol also opted for neutral white J Mendel with thigh-high slit that revealed her Manolo Blahniks
Isla Fisher went pure hold Hollywood glam in Oscar de la Renta. This is head to toe perfection, she has never looked better

They've still got it: JoBeth Williams (left) was lovely in her red off-the-shoulder number, while Anna Gunn continued to dominate the red-carpet in her glam embellished midnight blue Monique Lhuillier frock
Anna Gunn midnight blue dress is nice but underwhelming, I have seen her in nicer but the Breaking Bad clutch, I want it!

Hitting all the right notes: Juliette Lewis (left) looked perfectly put-together in her turquoise floral Vivienne Westwood gown with draped neckline, Downton Abbey's Laura Carmichael (centre) was understated in delicate gold Vionnet, while Katrina Bowden's simple black Badgley Mischka number featured a glitzy gold embellished neckline
Katrina Bowen Badgley Mischka dress is one of my best of the night. I love the detail on the top of the dress, it's stunning and the detail is amazing and the gold and black is so classic. Stunning pick

Hitting all the right notes: Juliette Lewis (left) looked perfectly put-together in her turquoise floral Vivienne Westwood gown with draped neckline, Downton Abbey's Laura Carmichael (centre) was understated in delicate gold Vionnet, while Katrina Bowden's simple black Badgley Mischka number featured a glitzy gold embellished neckline
Laura Carmichael wore an interesting silver Vionnet to the awards. I really like the slit and the color is really chic and simple although the black  strappy shoes are a killer

Strikingly beautiful: Camila Alves (left) said her chartreuse satin crepe vintage Donna Karan Atelier gown was a last-minute choice, while Kaley Cuoco's dove grey fit and flare Vera Wang dress looked like it had been made for her
Kaley Cuoco wore a stunning grey Vera Wang. I love the fishtail detail and how it fits her so well. The dress is stunning but the extreme dark eye make up takes away fromt the dress a bit, I don't think she needs the extreme dark make up, shes too pretty but the outfit is gorgeous

Strikingly beautiful: Camila Alves (left) said her chartreuse satin crepe vintage Donna Karan Atelier gown was a last-minute choice, while Kaley Cuoco's dove grey fit and flare Vera Wang dress looked like it had been made for her
Camilla Alves wore a stunning vintage Donna Karen. I love the mustard yellow against her skin tone and the shape of the dress is so sexy. I cannot believe she has had 4 kids. She looks amazing here

Mayim Bialik wore an interesting Mark Davis dress. This dress seems a bit all over the place. The baby pink and the black don't mesh well together also it's too short for my liking, sorry Mayim, I hate to diss any Big Bang Star

Fashion evolution: Modern Family star Sarah Hyland went for a different look to usual, wearing a soft blush Pamella Roland sheath dress with ruched detail and high-low hemline, complete with very natural, fresh make-up and Jimmy Choo stilettos and clutch
Sarah Hyland went for a blush pink Pamella Roland dress, I think the color is amazing on her and I really like how she kept her outfit age appropriate and fun. the color is so nice and the shoes are Amazing. She looks great and youthful

Beauties in black: Abigail Breslin (left) added a sparkly bolero to her strapless fishtail Chagoury gown, The Big Bang Theory's Melissa Rauch (centre) went for drama with her strapless Rubin Singer frock with gathered side detail, while Game Of Thrones' Carice Van Houten opted for a flirty tea-length dress
Abigail Breslin wore a fitted black gown and a stunning little jacket as well. I like how she kept it interesting with the embellished jacket. I also love the subtle detail on the dress. She may only be 17 but this girl is has a good eye when it comes to fashion

Melissa Rauch wore another Rubin Singer to the event. although it's a nice dress she has worn the same dress just in different colors to all the Big Red Carpet. I give her props for sticking to what she knows but sometimes it's nice to mix it up a bit

Red-blooded women: Elisabeth Moss (left) kept it simple in her strapless Michael Kors frock with black belted waist, Holly Hunter (centre) showed off her impressive biceps in her halterneck Randi Rahm frock with flowy train, while Patricia Arquette opted for a long-sleeved, plunging number
Elisabeth Moss wore a red Micheal Kors. It's a nice dress but a bit boring. I could find this dress in any evening wear shop, i just wish she was a bit more adventurous. It is a pretty gown though
