Pink Wedding Dresses: Yay or Nay

Last week one of my favorite actresses and instagram users Kaley Cuoco uploaded her a photo to her account of her and her new husband Ryan Sweetings. The actress had her hair tied back and was kissing her new hubby in a big fluffy pink wedding gown. The gown was designed by Vera Wang and was the definition of Princess dress. The stunning blond looked so cute and sweet.
For years I always thought of Pink wedding dresses we're more for the gypsy wedding kind but a few other Hollywood stars have gone down the pink route for the aisle. Jessica Biel wore a stunning Giambattista Valli gown for her wedding to Justin Timberlake and she looked nothing but elegant, also Reese Witherspoon wore a fitted pink Monique Lhuillier dress for her second wedding to Jim Toth and the origin style dare devil Gwen Stefani wore a dip dye Dior dress for her wedding to Gavin Rossdale back in 2002, however I myself wonder if it's a smart move to have a pink wedding dress?
You are going to be looking at these photos, hopefully, for the rest of your life and do you really want to be the bride in pink. I just think it's the one day of your life where you should not be trying to be on trend, or out there, this is where tradition is good . Don't get me wrong, these ladies looked amazing in their creations, but you have to make sure you don't cross the line from classy to tacky, because with a big puffy pink dress, it could be hard not to fall into the trap.
You also have to remember that these ladies are wearing dresses from Vera Wang and Dior, Of course these designers are going to make these dresses look amazing and high end, but the average bridal shop, may not have that ability. Although I think a fitted dusty pink wedding dress like Reese Witherspoons dress would work on the average bride, I myself would like to wear that look if I were to get married and wear pink, (heres hoping someone will have me!)
Pink wedding dresses seem to be the next hot trend for brides with big budgets though, Vera Wang unveiled her fall 2014 bridal collection and all dresses were Pink, I must admit, she knows how to make a pink wedding dress, most of the collection if flawless.
All in all, These ladies looked stunning, classy and beautiful on their big day, just remember you want to go for Kayle not Gypsy!
