We Hit 1000 Views

This evening I hit over 1000 views. I know to some of the big bloggers out there 1000 views isn't a huge thing but for me it is. I started this blog nearly 3 months ago for fun and to think over 1000 people from around the world have looked at this page makes me smile from ear to ear. Thank you for everyone who has come to the blog over the last few months and has read an post I have written. I hope you continue to come and read this blog.

Asos Sale Dresses: Some of the Gems

Asos is considered to be the go to place when us ladies need a new outfit pronto. they are currently in the middle of their summer sale and I have found a few pieces that I think many will want to snap up. Shop at www.asos.com 

This dress is down to €43.74 and would suit anyone who is trying to emulate the style of Rihanna or Rita Ora. Its edgy and the fringe detail is very on trend. 

This dress is a head turner, it is not for the faint hearted but it would look amazing on someone who would have the confidence to rock it. It is down to €43.74 and it bound to get you noticed. 

Aztec is still a hot trend and this dress covers that trend, and will have you looking good doing it. It is down to €29.82 so its an absolute bargain as well.

Glastonbury Style

Glastonbury is in full swing and as per usual celebrity have been clamoring at Somerset to  enjoy the weekend and while some have brought their style with them, others seem to have left it at home.

 
Millie Macintosh looked effortlessly cool, and didn't try to hard in her belly top and leather shorts, teamed with essential hunter weddings, a khaki green jacket and a super cute garland. She was joined by hubby to be Professor Green.


Caroline Flack wore a cute floral number but kept cool in a long black coat,  she also wore a very smart had and hunter wellies, which look like they have been put to good use.


Katherine Jenkins looked cute in floral shirt and denims with very clean looking Hunters. She also had a subtle headband, to keep with her floral look.

 
Cara Delevvingne looked cool and casual in a printed bomber jacket and simple black jeans. she also pulled off some interesting looking shades. The supermodel was there to support bestie Rita Ora who was Performing at the event.


Florence Welsh looked her kooky self ina coral jacket, oriental style top and skinny jeans, she also was another celeb who rocked Hunters.



Sienna Miller didn't look that well put together in an oriental style jacket, black top and ill fitting shorts, although I am loving those boots, that go oh so well with her matching hat.


Billie Piper looked her normal causal self in a khaki green jacket, pink dress and dark green hunters.


Nick Grimshaw, who was there working as well as playing, looked his fashionable self, rocking a checked shirt, skinnies and very bright coral Hunters.



Dizze Rascal was very dressed down at Glasto, he wore shopping bags to protect his feet, maybe he should have left the trainers at home and gone for pair of wellies, no?



Douglas Booth looked smart and festival ready in his casual gear, I know he's not making any fashion statements here, but he is just so gorgeous I had add him in!


Rita Ora took to the stage in red fringe number, matching her trademark red lips. even though it s a bit out there, it's Rita Ora, she looks dame fabulous all the time!

Bert and Ernie New Yorker Cover

Today the New Yorker released a photo of their cover which features beloved Sesame Street stars Bert and Ernie sitting together with Berts arm around Ernie, watching tv. The image on the tv shows the Supreme Court Justices in their black robes, a response to the massive ruling in California a few days ago on the defeat of the Defence of Marriage Act. The Defense of Marriage Act was ruled unconstitutional, meaning rights previously only given to heterosexual couples in a legal union can no longer be denied to gay couples, which is a fantastic move for marriage equality.

I myself am a huge supporter of Gay Rights and Marriage Equality and think this is a wonderful step, I think anyone who is going to say that having a couple who are on a show like Sesame Street is not appropriate for children to watch, is so ignorant and I am going to give them one piece of advice, "GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE SAND, LOVE IS LOVE". Children should be exposed to all forms of love. Bert and Ernie were always said to be nothing then more than friends but I think it would be great to see such popular tv characters showing how being Gay is OK, to young people. This is not the only move forward for gay couples on TV shows, Disney announced that they are adding a gay couple to their show "Good Luck Charlie" this is another great step forward.

 
Cam and Mitchell from Modern Family

It was also revealed today that my favorite tv couple may have their own wedding soon, Cam and Mitchell from Modern Family may be getting their own wedding since the defeat of DOMA, the writers are seriously considering making it official from my favorite family from the show. 

Whether its Bert and  Ernie's cosy night in or a fabulous wedding between Michelle and Cam one thing is for sure, Pop Culture supports the idea that all love should be celebrated and that message is one worth sharing with everyone.

Music Review: Caggie Dunlop "Neverland"

Not too long ago Made in Chelsea came onto our screens and made Monday night viewing that much better. One of it's former stars Caggie Dunlop has released her new music video tonight of Nederland. The Track has a folk y feel to it and Caggie's vocals are quite soft.That said one of my main things that I did not like about the track was that I thought her diction at times was poor and I thought the lyrics were a bit random. I like when an artist tells a story throughout the song and I just felt that was lacking in the track. However it is a nice soft tune and shows that Caggie wants to be taken seriously as an artist and not an reality star with a song. I think she has great potencial and could really
be a big hit if she keeps up the singer songwriter material. It's a good debut and good things are going to come out of the Londoner in the future, I suspect.

Pregnancy Bullying: Why People Need To Back Off!

During Kim Kardashian's Pregnancy she was photographed almost daily, the main focus, her bump and her expanding waistline. The woman is pregnant, she was expected to gain a couple of pounds, but while some people knew she was getting heavier because she was expecting, others decided to be down right cruel and say things like "Kim's not Pregnant, she's just fat!" or "why is she so fat" or one of the cruelest was "Is Kim giving birth to a baby whale?". All these people is my eyes are pathetic computer warriors who think it's ok to mock a pregnant lady, how on earth is that ok?!. Its not, it's bullying and ganging up on someone who should be enjoying her time as an expectant mother.

If you ever watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians it shows that Kim is very careful with her appearance and knows it is her money maker. She was also really slim before she was pregnant and had the sickest body, but she gains weight because she is pregnant, which is Standard and now shes a whale! There is no excuse for that sort of name calling. 

It's also not just Kim Kardashian who has faced cruel comments from bullies while expecting, The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford has tons of abuse about her new figure, She performed at the Capitol Ball in London with her bandmates looking larger especially round the hip area and was thrown comments such as "I know shes pregnant but Frankie Sandford has gotten well fat in the space if a week!" what, are you well! Another was "frankies not hot anymore since she got fat! Its ridiculous!

  

Frankie is stunning, so is Kim K but we have become so obsessed with image where it has gotten to stage where society expects people to be thin all the time, even when they are bringing life into the world. Its hideous and all these people who give this abuse are zits on the face of society. 

People who think you have to still be a size 10 and six months pregnant are putting dangerous thoughts to society. I know that some people do stay slim during their pregnancy but not everyone is built like the Duchess of Cambridge. Catherine has still maintained a slim figure to go along with her nice medium sized bump. Although I hate to brake to the weight slayer of society, she is naturally slim. She is tall and athletic, someone like Kim K is petite and has an hourglass figure.  It is to do with your general make up and no women should feel upset because she looked bigger pregnant than Kate does! 

These women should be celebrated, but instead they are being bullied by small minded, pathetic, socially inept losers! I think all of these women have looked great during pregnancy, expanding waistline or not.

New Fashion Buys

Hi, I haven't posted much as I was in London from Monday until today. I picked up some very cute pieces and I'm going to share some with you all. I love going to London because everyone is dressed so differnt but their looks are so well put together. I saw loads of girls who looked perfect but without putting in too much effort. I trailed up and down Oxford St until I got everything I wanted, I also went to Westfield Shopping Center in Shepherd's Bush which is just amazing, I have been there a lot and I love it there, it is the best shopping center I have been to in all my life.

I bought loads of casual clothes from my favorites shop New Look, and I also hit Victoria Secret hard, their sale was Amazing, here's a look of some of what the Great British High street had to offer.

I got this jacket in Dorothy Perkins for £44, I love it so much, it;s part of the Kardashian Kollection, I always buy from their range as they are some of my style icons, this jacket is so versatile, it was my first purchase and one of my favorites.   

I got this Denim Jacket in New Look for £20, Denim Jackets are on trend and can be worn all day and night. I love it as it was a good length and I love light denim.

 I have been dying to get these and haven't taken them off since I got them, at £40 they were a perfect buy

 I bought this jumper because I thought it was cool with the netting style, it was also only £25 and goes with so many things in my wardrobe

I love how this is a simple design and it was only £15, it can be worn with so many things in my wardrobe, it's a handy piece to have.

I saw this and Loved it, it's also new look, a good baggy t-shirt with leggings is a cute look and it was also only £15, I could not turn it away

I bought these leggings for £15, they go well with the baggy shirt above and they are on trend, I love leather leggings, I think they look so cool with a red lip and leather jacket.

I went into Victoria secret and the sale was  amazing, I got loads of stuff for just under £100, These pants were so comfy I couldn't leave them behind

I got these sunnies in Topshop. I have been looking for sunnies like these for ages and there were only £10, I haven't taken them off since!

I got this Ted Baker Purse for £19 down from £70, I love the pop of color and it was an absolute steal! 

I got this in Victoria Secret for £18 as their sale was amazing, I love the lace at the back and I love the color

This was £24 from Victoria Secret, I love the pattern and the color, Aztec is on trend at the moment and I love how its a subtle touch to the trend.

This is my favorite buy, its topshop and was £69. I love the color and I love shift dresses, I was eyeing it up all week but I decided to take the plunge and buy it and I am in love, Topshop is full of amazing clothes but this stood at to me. It also comes in coral but the yellow was my favorite, safe to say you wont miss me in the club in this!
