Khloe & Lamar Sad Story

For weeks we have heard stories that Khloe Kardashian Odom and her basketball star husband Lamar Odom are spitting up. There are reports he cheated, went missing and now it's reported he has a serious drug problem. It also emerged today that she kept his drug taking a secret from her famous family because she "didn't want to burden them with her problems".
That to me is so sad, the family prides itself on being there for one another in times of need and the fact that the family have been there for other members for other problems, which seem feeble compared to Khloes, really makes me feel that bad for her.
I don't know if any of the stories are true and I don't really believe much unless it's confirmed, but if they are having all these problems Kris and co should be the first to jump in and help Khloe through it.
Khloe has always been a  devoted wife from what we have seen on the show. The two seem so in love with each other, three years into their marriage and they seemed to be of of those couples would be together forever.
First there were reports Lamar cheated with a lawyer and now that he is addicted to Oxycontin and Coke.
Khloe seems to the type of woman who will fight to the death for her man, but it is just so sad that Lamaris in this supposed state. The family need to rally around the pair and help them get through all this drama, I really hope they don't split, they seem made for each other, I just hope that Lamar can get clean if he does have this addiction and that they grow old together and live happily ever after.

Miley Cyrus VMA Performance: My Reaction

Last Night, when America was watching the MTV 2013 Video Music Awards I was on twitter to see the commentary. I knew the show would be show this evening in Ireland and the UK but I couldn't help myself.
at one my point my timeline was blowing up about Miley performance, most people were shocked and disgusted, I knew I would have to check it out the next day.
I looked at the performance today online and I have to say I was shocked and disgusted. Miley has been acting gangster and ghetto at the moment and I haven't taken her seriously but after that performance last night, I think she just went too far and became a big joke.
I know that she wants to get away from the Disney image but there is a way to do it that doesn't involve gyrating on married man on stage.
Take a look at Selena Gomez, she is trying to move away from the Disney image and she is doing such a good job at it, she is being taken seriously in her craft as well. She has starred in more adult roles such as Spring Breakers and Getaway her album, which has a more adult sound and theme, went number one and she walked away with a moonman last night.
During the performance Miley sang her hit "We Can't Stop" then Robin Thicke came on and they duetted his hit "Blurred Lines". During the performance "Drake" looked so Done with her performance, Rihanna looked confused and the 1D boys looked pure uncomfortable.  There is also a video of Taylor Swift watching the performance and she is laughing her head off and looking shocked at the same time.
I thought is was so inappropriate and made her look so desperate. She wants to be taken seriously as an artist but she's acting so trashy.  I also thought she was out of tune during the Blurred Lines duet and it ruined what could have been a great performance from Robin.
Rubbing up against him in sexual positions, simulating masterbation, sliding her foam hand up against Robins crotch and Rubbing her own suggestively, I mean this is a big awards ceremony and really bringing down the tone. You also have to remember Robin Thicke is a married father of one, and If I was his wife Paula Patton Miley would not want to see me afterwards for a long time!
Many celebrities such as Nick Cannon and Brooklyn Decker tweeter their disgust as well as many other twitter users.
I cannot image acting that way myself, especially not in front of millions of viewers, I know the likes of Rihanna and Lady GaGa can be wild on stage but this was just trashy, this was trying too hard and that performance was just pathetic.

Sarah Hyland wore a gold and maroon dress to the event but I thought the dress was a bit of a mess and the black shoes looked a bit clumpy which is a pity because I usually love the Modern family actresses style.

Iggy Azalea looked incredible in a gold see through dress and simple hair and makeup

Zayn and Perrie Engagement

Today is was announced that One Direction's Zayn Malik and Little Mix's Perrie edwards we're engaged, it was confirmed to the Dorset Echo by Perrie's mum that her daughter was set to marry the heartthrob. She was seen sporting an engagement ring on her ring finger at the premiere of 1D's new film "This Is Us" last night which set off the speculation.
the couple have been going out for about 18 months and seem to be in love but I can't help that this is a bit too much too soon. Zayn and Perrie are only 20.They have their whole lives and they decided it's better to settle now? I think it's a bit premature. Zayns bandmates Louis and Liam are in relationships but there is no word on marriage, They should enjoy being young and in live and not take the steps to make it official so soon. I hope this is a long engagement because they are so young and they are very early on in the relationship.
I'm 20 and if i came home to my parents telling them I was engaged they would hit the roof, I couldn't support them if they were my children. I never understood how couples who have been only been dating about a year or so, get engaged. Give it time. What usually happens is that they get divorced and it all ends in tears. I hope they have a long engagements and in a few years  when they are older, they walk down the aisle and live happily ever after. I just think this is all happening too fast and too soon.

Stop the Stereotype

I am not usually the type of person who goes on massive rants about social issues but I have had enough of this. Yesterday I was in my local starbucks and after I sat down with my order I heard two girls commenting on how I was such a "D4". they probably thought I couldn't hear them because I had my earphones in and I was choosing my next track to listen to but instead I heard them comment on how I was "Such a stereotypical  D4".

To those who don't know what a D4 is, a D4 is someone who is considered posh and snobby and spoilt. They are considered to be kind of like Naomi Harris from 90210. This stereotype has been around since the early 2000's and was very prominent through the Celtic Tiger years. Now this is not the first time I have been called a D4 but I have grown up alot ever since the phrase was coined, back then I wore head to toe Abercrombie and Fitch, Ugg Boots and had a Juicy handbag, that was the style in my area. Now though I rarely wear abercrombie sweatpants, (only to the gym) I only wear my Ugg's in Winter and the days of Juicy handbags are long gone, however people still think I should be classed as D4. 

One this day I was wearing plain skinny jeans and a white and blue striped top and black pumps, pretty normal day wear. 

The girls in question presumed I was a D4 because of how I spoke, that's just as bad as judging someone with a harsh Dublin accent. The accent I have is one nearly everyone has from where I live. To think I am snobby and rude is just as bad as presuming someone is rough because they come from a certain area. 

I am annoyed that still in this day and age people still put others into certain stereotypes. 

I am not snobby, I pride myself on being approachable and nice to everyone no matter where they come from I have friends from all over Dublin. I don't refuse to talk to someone because they come from an area that does not have the best reputation, If I said "Oh he is such a knacker, you can hear it in her accent also from what he's wearing" I would get so much backlash, I never would but it's just the same as thinking I am snobby, rude and spoilt because of my voice and my style, we were all told "Don't judge a book by it's cover, just remember, don't judge someone by their handbag.

This dress is very fairytale like, One shoulder is great for people with medium to big sized boobs.I love the silver and pink, I think this dress will have you looking classy and will have peoples head spinning. At €469 is is also a very good price

This id a good dress for pear shaped girls, Black is always classy and black will never date, the cute is timeless and you can really dress it up with statement accessories. It's from Misguided priced at €56.69

Navy suits all hair color, skin tones and dress sixes, this would suit a pear shaped girl as the belt comes from under the bust, giving you a nice shape. It's also from Coast and costs €450

This color is a great neutral tone and works on many skin tones and hair colors, It's from  House of Fraser at €200 and the detail of the band is stunning

Teen Choice Awards Fashion: Review

Last Night the Teen Choice Awards took place and an array of stars graced the red carpet for the event. Along with big names were some big fashion hits, and some misses but most of the stars delivered killer looks for the event.

Selena Gomez looked perfect in a midi green dress with two thigh high splits. She has been looking amazing these last few months.

Demi Lovato looked like a rock and roll stunner in her ensemble. I love the hair and make up so much.

Miley Cyrus showed off her figure in this revealing dress, to be honest I think it suits her but I detest the white shoes!

Kerry Washington wore a very cute printed mini dress and had her make up and hair looking flawless.

Nina Dobrev wore a printed jumpsuit and topped off the look with a bold orange clutch, the actress looked amazing at the awards and kept the rest of her look simple.

Lea Michele could have worn a shirt and jeans and I would not have a bad word to say about her, she looked great in pink skater dress but I loved her strength more than any outfit, I have so much respect for  her and she remanded so dignified during what was a heart wrenching speech. 

Lucy Hale wore a white top and skirt combo but I think the skirt was a bit to long and wide, I think a fitted skirt would have looked much better.

Naya Rivera wore a leather crop top and pants outfit. Honestly I would have liked this outfit more if the top was a bit longer, her stomach looked great though, also I would have lost the purple shoes and gone for black of grey.

 

Lily Collins brought the drama in her patterned mullet skirt, I like the outfit a lot but I HATE that hair!

Bella Thorn looked cute and age appropriate in her printed mini dress topped off with simple black pumps.

J-Woww wore a trashy sequined mullet dress. I hate this look so much.

Chloe Moretz wore a colorful bandage dress to the event. She topped off her great choice with some simple but gorgeous heels.

Abigail breslin looked way older than her years. The dress is too long and and the wrong fabric but I love her shoes and jacket. 

Brittany Snow wore a cute and summery lime green mini dress paired with nude wedges. 

Sasha Pieterse wire a monochrome jumpsuit to the event. The top half is nice but the pants swamp her small frame.

Gabby Douglas looked fresh and summery in her yellow mini and wore hot pink shoes which really worked with her outfit.

Bridgit Mendler wore a simple but cute colorful mini dress.

Cher Lloyd looked great in a crop top and mini combo, she also rocked a sophisticated hairstyle and had a great color scheme going with black and gold.
