Emmys Fashion Review

Hey guys I'm back, I haven't posted in awhile, I have been so busy with work and college but there is nothing that gets me more excited to write then an Awards Show Fashion. Last night the The Emmys were held and the biggest stars from the small screen graced the red carpet for the Oscars of the TV world. Some brought the glam while others were a pure sham. Here is a collection of some of the best and worst looks of the night.

Ice cool on the carpet: Zooey looked relaxed and happy in her choice of J Mendel gown which matched her eyes
Zooey Deschanel looked so elegant while keeping her fun style in a amazing J Mendel. Her hair was also fabulous and her shoes are the niced white shoes I have ever seen.

Award show chic: Claire showed off a faux blonde bob in her backless lacy Armani Prive number teamed with a slick of red lipstick
Claire Danes never puts a foot wrong. she always looks flawless, this year is no different. .The Armani Prive dress is so beautiful and the simple hair and make up tops off the look. She is perfection.

Ivory tower: Julie Bowen said she opted for this striking and fitted Zac Posen dress because it was 'so beautiful'
Julie Bowen looked unbelievable. This Zac Posen dress is a work of art. I love the color against her hair and skin and the simple bangle lets the dress do the work.

Blonde ambition: The star wore her fair hair in a curled bob and showed off her stunning figure in the mint green dress which featured a see-through skirt
I usually adore Jenny Packham dresses but I think Julian Hough is showing a little to much here. If the lining was longer I would have loved this dress. However her body is amazing and her hair and make up is stunning.

Kerry Washington looks dream like in this Marchesa gown. the color against her skin is amazing and the accessories are gorgeous. This woman has got some of the best style on showbiz

Black and white delight: Elisabeth Moss looked striking with her new edgy platinum blonde bob and black and white beaded gown
Elizabeth Moss monochrome looked was outstanding. The simpleness of her look made her stand out and the pop of red in the lip tops off a perfect look.

Sunset hues: Michelle Dockery teamed red with purple, Christine Baranski stepped out in scarlet, Danielle Brooks sported a bright orange plunging number
Michelle Dockery's look split opinions but I think the Downton star looked great in Prada. The colors are real autumn colors and the back was divine. She always goes for interesting looks and this is not different. I really liked her look for the night.

Strutting her stuff: Christina Hendricks showed off her famous curvy figure in a short sleeved lacy black dress, wearing her bright red hair in a curly bob
Christina Hendricks looks like a sex bomb in this black number. She looked like she stepped out of a Photo shoot in the 30's. Whoever says she's too big is crazy, she looked sexier than most of the smaller actresses there.

The white stuff: Malin Akerman arrived in a flouncy strapless gown with a flared skirt
Malin Akerman, WOW WOW WOW. I want this Marchesa gown so bad, I love it so much. The detail, the ruffel, the simpleness of the white. She looked perfect.

Smoking Gunn! Anna Gunn, 45, looked light years away from her Breaking Bad character as she wore a glamourous Romona Keveza gown on the Emmys red carpet
Anna Gunn looked a far cry from skylar in Ramona Keveza. The Breaking Bad star took a simple clutch along with her as she rocked the Red Carpet in her stunning gown.

Curvy in red: Sofia Vergara sizzled in a bright Vera Wang plunging structured gown
Sofia Vergara looked sexy as in Vera Wang. My ultimate girl crush donned emerald jewels as she she stole the show in striking red.

Purple passion: Mindy Kaling, Tv host Tea Andrews, Alyson Hannigan and Big Bang Theory actress Melissa Rauch looked stylish in different versions of the same colour
Alison Hannigan wore a gorgeous purple shade to the event. I loved the top, however I am not crazy on the bottom. I do however adore her clutch.

Cobie Smulders looked beautiful in a simple pink gown. I loved the ruffle detail at the back and her hair and makeup looked flawless.

Wonderful in white: Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke teamed her strapless gown with a silver belt
Emilia Clarke wore a Donna Karen so amazing it looked like a piece of art. I love the uneven neckline and the silver band really brings it together.

Wonderful in white: Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke teamed her strapless gown with a silver belt, Taylor Schilling sported a high necked gown with split
Taylor Schilling looked wonderful in a gorgeous white gown and simple make up. I actually think she had one of the best looks of the night because she kept it so simple.

Green goddesses: Sarah Hyland, Anna Chumsky and Nancy O'Dell all plumped for floor length green gowns
Sarah Hyland wore a gorgeous forest green Carolina Herrera dress. I haven't been crazy on some of her past choices but this color against her skin tone and that dark lip, I cannot fault it.

Pretty in pastels: True Blood star Carrie Preston, Ariel; Winter stuck to pink
Ariel Winter put her family troubles behind her and looked pretty in pink. Usually I think this color is a bit tacky but on her it looked cute, young and fresh. I also love how in contrasts with her dark hair. She looked gorgeous and age appropriate.

Kaley Cuoco looked amazing her burgundy Vera Wang. I think she looks sexy but classy. I love the hair and how she dared to match her eye make up with the dress. In love with this whole look.

Purple passion: Mindy Kaling, Tv host Tea Andrews, Allison Janney and Big Bang Theory actress Melissa Rauch looked stylish in different versions of the same colour
Big Bang theory star Melissa Rauch looked amazing in an unusual purple dress. I love the detail on the top and the layering. She looked fantastic.

Mayim Bialik looked breathtaking  in a classy green dress with embellishment. I like how she always dresses classy and conservative but never boring. I thought she looked flawless last night and really glamourous.

Feeling blue: Katrina Bowden wore a navy blue dress while Edie Falco looked demure but striking while Allison Williams sported a similar jewelled tone gown and Connie Britton arrived in an unusual embroidered number
Connie Britton's dress could have worked if she didn't use the most dated fabric of all time.I think the dress looked dated and drab. I was not impressed

Cat Deeley wore a tacky and oddly shaped sequined dress. The cutouts were unnecessary and and the shape round the hips is odd and adds inches to her slim frame. Fashion fail.

Tickled pink: The Mad Men star revealed her lacy gown was especially made for her
January Jones looked pretty in a simple Givenchy dress, however I thought it was a little bland. She still looked stunning though, but she is January Jones.

A delight in black and white: Julianna Margulies looked chic in a strapless white gown with black floral detail
Julianna Margulies has too much going on. The extra fabric, the messy pattern, she would have looked so much better with a simple white dress. Not Impressed.

Plum perfection: Mad Men star Linda Cardellini looked stunning in a strapless Donna Karan Atelier dress
Mad Men star Linda Cardellini dress was amazing. The Donna Karan is so unreal and the color is exquisite, An excellent choice.

Flower power: Lena Dunham wore a rather garish Prada gown
WTF? Horrific, ladies, if you have weight on the bottom do not add 10 pounds of fabric to your skirt, and not with that pattern either. Awful, just rotten. Again, WTF?

Flower power: Lena Dunham wore a rather garish Prada gown while her Girls co-stars Zosia Mamet also went for a tie dye style pink, white and black number
Zosia Mamet, why? The dress was mediocre enough without the piece of leather on your  boobs. Bad fashion move.

Feeling blue: Edie Falco looked demure but striking while Allison Williams sported a similar jelwelled tone gown
Alison Williams, Thank you! The only "Girls" actress who got it right. The color is gorgeous and the dress is simple. The hair and makeup is also perfect.

Lady in red: Kelly Osbourne arrived in a plunging scarlet Jenny Packham gown which contrasted perfectly with her lavender hair
Kelly Osbourne looked fabulous in a flowing red dress and gorgeous accessories.
