Afrojack: Forget The World Album Review

It is finally here, after 15 years of making music one of my Top artists is finally releasing this album. I have been so excited for this album since the DJ used snapchats to send teasers of songs of his new album and I have been raving about this guy who since early last year. He has some amazing tunes and great collaborators on this album and with EDM being so hot right now, he's earning his place with the big boys.

1: 10 Feet Tall ft Wrabel: This song is so epic and is something that you can really lose yourself to. The vocals are amazing and I think its a great opener to the album

2: Illuminate ft Matthew Koma: Matthew Koma seems to be the go to guy for dance tracks at the moment. I love this song, it does not seem to be a dance track when you hear the verse but once the beat drops it is epic, The beat is unreal and is pure afrojack

3: Born to Run ft Tyler Glynn : This starts as a ballad and the vocals are good but the beat is epic and is less commercial than some of the beats on the album but it's a great track

4: Freedom ft D-Wayne: This is all dance music at the start of the song. The beginning is a little crap but when the beat drops it is unbelievable, amazing work, this would be Amazing in a club

5: The Spark ft Spree Wilson: This was the first single off the album and one of my songs of last year. It is just a fun uplifting song that makes me smile. The vocals suit the song so well and the beat is amazing, one of my top songs off the album.

6: Dynamite ft Snoop Dogg: This definitely has a hip hop influence to it but is does work. Snoop Dogg is on point as usual and the collaboration shows how Hip Hop & EDM mixing is possible

7: Too Wild ft Wiz Khalifa: This song is perfect for long cruises on the car. Wiz lazy style vocals do work but I am not overly impresses with this song

8: 3 Strikes ft Jack McManus: I am not impressed with the vocals with this song but the beat is great and real hardcore EDM. Afrojacks beats save this song really

9: Catch Tomorrow:  Sting doing EDM, yes really, the legend gives as good as any young artist, his vocals stand out as usual and the Beat is Epic, so fun and uplifting, these guys made a great song

10: We'll Be Ok ft Wrabel: I am not blown away by this song but the beat is still fun and uplifting

11: Mexico ft Shirazi: This was too forgettable for her, not a fan

12: Keep Our Love Alive ft Matthew Koma: A good song with the go to vocalist and the beat is another epic offering

13: Faded: This is pure EDM, hardcore stuff, fans will love it, passers by won't

14: As Your Friend ft Chris Brown: I loved this song. This came out last year and I am still obsessed with it, the two work so well together, it is a little different to the single version but it is still awesome.

Overall: The vocal verses are a little blah compared to the magic of the beats. Afrojack is amazing at what he does. I love most of the album, one or two were a bit eh, but overall it cements his place with the big boys of the EDM world and rightly so

Best Track: Illuminate

Billboard Music Awards 2014

Last Night, huge stars of the music world came out for the Billboard Music Awards. An array of stars graced the red carpet for a huge night and here is the fashion rundown

Carrie Underwood, I LOVE THIS, the detail, the colors, the beading, she looks perfect

Chrissy Teigen wore a really interesting monochrome dress. I like the unique structure of the dress and I love her new bangs

J Lo in Donna Karan, perfection, how is she 44, it's just not natural

Kendall Jenner, WOW, the model looks so hot here. I love the outfit, amazing

Sheer delight: Cher Lloyd stepped onto the red carpet at the Billboard Awards on Sunday night in a fetching purple outfit
Cher Lloyd wore a purple dress. She looks really good here, I really like this color on her, the one thing I would say is that I am not a huge fan of high neck dresses in general

Stand-out style: Kylie Jenner, 16, opted for a tight white midi-length frock and white leopard-print stilettos featuring a lace-up design, while she showed off her recently cropped and dip-dyed tresses featuring her natural black hue to mid-length and bright turquoise ends
Kylie Jenner looked slick in this tight white dress, it's simple but hot, I am not crazy about the shoes thought, but I love the dress with the fun green hair

Right on-trend! Carrie was a vision in her lime-green Oriett Domenech gown featuring a long train and sexy sparkly silver bodice, while Miranda added just the right amount of sex appeal to her form-fitting neon mini-dress with a sheer panel down the centre
Miranda Lambert looked unreal in a neon pink, her body looks amazing and the deep plunge and the sheer looks great, not the right shoes though

Making her homeland proud: Aussie songstress Iggy Azalea chose an unusual burgundy Zuhair Murad gown featuring long delicate sheer lace sleeves and bodice with a draped halterneck overlay covering her modesty that flowed down into a draped floor-length skirt
Iggy Azalea, This woman is so hot and has an Unbelievable body, why cover up so much., this is a nice dress but you are young and hot, why so serious, but her hair and make up looks great

Pretty Little Ladies! Lucy Hale (left) was sweet and summery in her colour-block lace midi-dress; Sarah Hyland (centre) stood out in her blue and silver sparkly Pucci skirt and blazer with black trim and gold zipper detail, paired with fun metallic Oscar Tiye heels; while Andi Dorfman was very much the eligible Bachelorette in her miniscule black mini-dress with gold embellishment
Sarah Hyland looks young fresh and chic in her amazing Pucci outfit, I love this so much, it's hot but still classy, amazing choice

Lucy Hale is a multicolored masterpiece. I love the brights on the actress and the lace is so summery. However the one thing I will say is that I am not sure the length works that well on her as she is so petite

Belles of the ball! Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and Nicki Minaj (from left) were three of Hollywood's hottest songstresses to watch as they hit the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday, flashing the flesh in their very different but equally striking ensembles
Nicki Minaj in Alexander McQueen is a seriously sexy sight. She looks so hot in this dress however the girls are doing their best to get out of there

Shakira, sexy as, what's new, love this dress on her, so fabulous

Va-va-voom! Jordin Sparks dazzled as she hit the red carpet at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sunday as she co-hosted the Billboard Music Awards' Samsung Red Carpet LIVE! webcast show, looking a million dollars in her sparkly sequinned Michael Costello LBD, which hugged her curves in all the right places
Jordan Sparks looked amazing in this dress, it shows off her body perfectly but I am not loving the hair, ruins the look for me

Showing the younger set how it's done: Country singer Shania Twain kept it classy as she covered up in a long-sleeved black maxi-dress featuring modest semi-sheer patterned detail on the sleeves, neckline and bottom half of the skirt
Shania Twain, still got it, she looks great in her simple black dress here and the hair is Divine!

Vermillion: The colour of Danica's dress was a cross between orange and red, known as 'vermillion'
Danica McKellar showed her toned body in a very daring cut out dress and looks amazing

Queen B & Jay Z: Trouble in Hip Hop Paradise?

Now we have all seen the footage of Solange going cray cray at Jay Z in an elevator after the Met Ball (bet Anna Wintour loves that!) the sub gramming on insta has fuelled speculation that all was not well between the first couple of music.
In the video Beyonce doesn't really do much to stop the fight and got into the car with her sister leaving Jay to catch another car. Solange then decided to delete nearly all photos of her and B on insta and beyonce chilled with Jay at a basketball game when after the footage came out.
Now B treated us to a array of photos of her and her sister on instagram which makes us question things even more now. Who's good, bad and WHAT did Jay do to get that sort of attack!
Sub gramming is in my opinion, a way to speak much louder than sub tweeting.
This is a way to either diffuse speculation but I am not buying it.
I don't believe any woman would let their sister attack their husband in the violent way that Solage did unless they did something major, I mean HUGE!
There also released the following statement which solves nothing
As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.
There are rumors it's because Jay cheated, which I highly doubt, that he was going to go to Rihannas party without Beyonce, which he should be able to do, and that he has promised to help with Solange music career which is has not done and that's why there is no buzz about her music and that she is sick of playing second best to Bey. Come on now honey, you will never be on top like Beyonce, you will never have her career, she is a mega superstar, pick something a bit more attainable!
We will never really know the details of their private lives and why this occured, nor should we, but I hope this does not spell the end for the couple because they really do seem Drunk in Love with each other, they are the King & Queen of Modern Showbiz and I hope Solange sorts out whatever issues she has.

right after the attack
