Golden Globes 2015: Fashion Review

Hey Guys, the blog has been a bit dead again, please forgive me, Christmas in work was cray cray and college has been mental, but the good news is Awards Season is back and the biggest party in Hollywood was just a mere 2 days ago, here is a run down of the hits and misses of the night!

All that glitters: Jennifer Lopez made a plunging entrance in a fabulous pale gown
J.Lo: 45, she is 45! Amazing in the Zuhair Murad, Flawless

Sparkling in Chanel: Reese Witherspooon, nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her work in Wild, wore silver Calvin Klein
Reese Witherspoon: Simple but stunning in this Silver Calvin Klien. She always wears him well

Baby approved: Rosamund revealed that her infant son had given her outfit the nod, by not crying
Rosamund Pike: The Gone Girl Star just had a baby 5 weeks ago and still looked like a dream in Vera Wang, so elegant, I love it

Pale but VERY interesting! Kate Hudson wowed in white cut-out Versace as she arrived for the Golden Globes in Los Angeles on Sunday
Kate Hudson: OMG, Bombshell much, so so sexy, she looks Hot! This Versace was the perfect choice!

All white: Emily Blunt, with husband John Krasinski, joked she was worried she would ruin her pale gown; explaining 'I have a baby!'
Emily Blunt: While the actress looks stunning, I can't help feel she played it a bit safe in this Micheal Kors Gown

Working it in white: Chrissy Teigen, Entourage star Emmanuelle Chriqui and E!'s Louise Roe
Chrissy Teigan: One of my Girl Crushes and favorite person on Twitter, The model looked amazing in her Zuhair Murad gown, she looks so fresh and young, I love it

Delicate detailing: Anna Faris in Reem Acra with a Judith Leiber clutch, Kristen Wiig and Camila Alves
Kristen Wiig: I don't know who told her she looked good but they lied! Awful, the print, the cut, the fit, just awful

Delicate detailing: Anna Faris in Reem Acra with a Judith Leiber clutch, Kristen Wiig and Camila Alves
Camilla Alves: The model looked simply radiant in her Monique Luillier baby pink gown. True Elegance

Her big day! Sienna Miller wore a wedding-worthy Miu Miu gown, complete with hand embellishment
Sienna Miller: I love this Miu Miu on the actress, I love the plunge, the color, the embellishment, I think this look suits her so well and brings it once again

A model guest: Heidi's gown was certainly eye catching
Heidi Klum: The supermodel and Versace are always a sexy and solid combination, she is red hot in this dress

Full length and fabulous: Catherine Zeta-Jones and Viola Davis go for the full-on ballgown look
CZJ: The actress wore a simple red Donna Karen ball gown. Its simple, stunning and elegant, just like her

Full length and fabulous: Catherine Zeta-Jones and Viola Davis go for the full-on ballgown look
Viola Davis: The star of my new TV obsession brought it in an amazing Donna Karen number. I love the detail on the sides and look how happy she looks in that dress, a great look for the actress

Kate Mara: I  would have loved this Miu Miu dress if it was not for that awful belt that just did not go. I mean why was that even necessary, No, just no

Ravishing in red: Girls star Lena Dunham, wearing Zac Posen, arrived with her new co-star Andrew Rannells
Lena Dunham: The superstar went with Old friend Zac Posen. This is one of the better looks the star has had. I love the  red, I think her and Zac work best together. She should stick to this style.

One of the Girls: Lena's co-star Allison Williams wore a beaded strapless gown
Alison Williams: The Girls star brought it like always in Armani. The beading is insane, the color is so rich and she looks so beautiful, gorgeous.

Bucking the trend: Nominee Jennifer Aniston, whose appearance in Cake has created quite the buzz, went her own way in Saint Laurent
Jennifer Aniston: The rom com superstar went for a simple, almost dull black fitted dress. This year she is a nominee, she should have upped her game, this looks like a prom dress I could buy off the rack, very dull.

Making an impact: Homeland star Claire Danes, George Clooney's human rights lawyer wife Amal, Edie Falco and Katie Cassidy
Amal Cloony: The most talked about woman of the night was Human Rights Lawyer Amal. The lawyer went for a simple Black Dior. I love the dress, she looked elegant and classic but I am not crazy about the white gloves. However overall this was such a classy look, bravo.

Making an impact: Homeland star Claire Danes, George Clooney's human rights lawyer wife Amal, Edie Falco and Katie Cassidy
Claire Dannes: This woman always gets it right, always looks immaculate, but this dress, not a fan. The fit is bad and the print is too old for her, I am sorry but she can do so much better.

Making an impact: Homeland star Claire Danes, George Clooney's human rights lawyer wife Amal, Edie Falco and Katie Cassidy
Katie Cassidy: Her hair and make up, bet of the night, beautiful, but the dress, no. It looks so tacky with plunge, the slit and the cut out, pick one but not all 3, also the mix of silver just adds to the recipe for disaster.

Not a follower of trends: The 18-year-old New Zealander carried off her offbeat choice with aplomb
Lorde: The singer kept true to herself in this amazing pant suit, I love the whole ensemble, from the necklace, to the red lip to the crop top, an amazing look!

The iron lady: Jessica Chastain shimmered in metallic bronze, complete with plunging neckline; the gown is a Versace version of a gold Travilla dress Marilyn wore in Gentleman Prefer Blondes
Jessica Chastain: My girl crush rocked up in a bronze Versace number. While this is a nice look from the star, she has looked so much more amazing at past Globe red carpets.

Dakota Johnston: The 50 Shades star looked AMAZING in this Chanel silver number. This girl knows all eyes will be in her for he next few months and when pulls looks like this I cant wait to see her on the press tour for 50 Shades

Lovely in lilac: Amy Adams is nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical for her role in Big Eyes
Amy Adams: The winner looked ravishing in a pale blue fitted gown. I love the simplicity of this look, the color, the shape the fit, simple marvelous!

Lupita Nyong'o: The queen of last years red carpet went for a purple flowing number this year. While I like the color and shape of the dress, nothing can top last years red dress. Sorry but she set the bar so high last year this year fell just a little flat

Kerry Washington: One of my favorite people ever, Kerry wore a Mary Katrantzou pink and purple dress. I love the mix of colors on the star and the structure suits her so well

Leslie Mann: The star looked great in a bright yellow gown. I love the color against her skin tone and hair, Stunning

Happy: Julianne Moore (L) and Emma Stone, both pictured at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, were thrilled after receiving Oscar nominations on Thursday
Jullianne Moore: The star looked amazing in a silver dress to the event. I love hoe the actress is still taking fashion risks on the red carpet, Showstopping!

Lana Del Ray: I love the singer but I HATE this look, I love the hair and make up but this dress is s o cheap looking. It looks like a cheap prom dress you get at TK Maxx, awful

Happy: Julianne Moore (L) and Emma Stone, both pictured at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, were thrilled after receiving Oscar nominations on Thursday
Emma Stone: My best dressed of the night. I adore this look, it is so different, so fun, so young, I adore the dress and the girl, pure winner, amazing
