American Music Awards: Fashion Review

Last Night some of the biggest names graced the red carpet for the AMA's. The fashion was daring, bright and glamorous, here's a run down of the looks from last night.

J.Lo, look at those abs, this Reem Acra dress shows off her amazing stomach and the color is so good on her

Selena Gomez looks so sleek and chic in Armani Prive. I love this look on her it's so classy and glamorous, stunning

Jordan Spark: I am not crazy about this look, I think the dress looks a bit cheap but she looks stunning, her hair and make up looks great

Fergie: She brought it once again, this look is so simple so gorgeous, amazing

Guliana Rancic wore an interesting asymmetrical dress on the night. I like the dress against her hair but those shoes are hideous.

Flawless: The blonde beauty looked simply stunning in her figure-hugging gown as she joked around on the carpet
Rita Ora must know she looks great. I love this  yellow Zac Posen. The color, the structure, the hair and make up, it's stunning.

Zendaya Coleman
Zendaya went for a real retro look. Some people hated it but I think it looks so boho with a modern twist and if anyone can pull it off, its her

LBD: Khloe, 30, donned a skintight asymmetric mini-dress and black patent pumps
Khloe Kardashian looked hot in a black mini. Its a good look but a bit bland in my opinion

Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner wore a very daring grown up look on carpet. I like the dress but she looks far to old for her age. I also hate the shoes.

.Model style: Kendall, 19, looked statuesque in a sheer black halterneck gown
Kendall Jenner looked great in a halter dress. She looks sleek but sexy. The model looks amazing

Gigi Handid wore a interesting suit. I am not crazy about this. A simple white pant suit would have looked way better

Megan Traynor wore a simple skater dress. I love the top part of the dress but the satin looks far too creased. However I do love the shoes and the bag

Charlie XCX
Charlie XCX looked amazing. This is such a different look for the star. Amazing

Ali Fedowtowsky looked slick in an all white dress. The structure of the dress so so chic, I love it

Christina Milian rocked a simple and sexy look in a Aztec black dress.

Taylor Schilling. I am not crazy about this dress, its a bit bland. She is such hot property at the moment I this was a dud choice

Kate Beckinsale looked utterly amazing this this white cut out gown, how is this woman 41

Calvin Harris Motion: Review

The man of EDM is back, after the monster hit that was 18 Months, Calvin Harris is back with a brand new album. Calvin is one of my favorite artists around and has been since about 2007. He has come a long way since "The Girls" and I have been so excited to hear this album. Here is a rundown of all the tracks

1. Faith: Calvin sings this by himself and it's nice to see him using his vocals. It's a good mellow beat, there's not a huge bass or beat but it's still strong opener.

2. Under Control ft Alesso & Hurts: His first single off the album that is now a year old. I fell in love with this song as soon as I heard it. The mix of Calvin and Alesso is amazing and Hurts vocals just adds something so special to it. I still love this song 12 months on.

3. Blame ft John Newman: The subtle drums and piano riffs complement Johns voice so well. When the beat drops, the mix is just fantastic, no wonder it did so well in the charts

4. Love Now ft All About She: I have never heard of this artiest but I really like her voice. There are some nice violins but there is not a major dance track to the song, it's very different to what Calvin does.

5. Slow Acid: This is just pure music. It's really only for big EDM fans, but for the fans he made it for I think they will love it.

6. Outside ft Ellie Golding; I love love LOVE this track. I have not stopped listening to it all week. I love the violins and how Ellies voice works so well against them. I don't know what it is about Ellie and Calvin but when they get together they just make magic

7. It Was You ft Firebeatz: Another one for the hardcore EDM fans, this has more of a dubstep feel.  I really like it though, it really shows Calvins talents as a producer

8. Summer: The monster hit was a hit for a reason, I remember finishing my summer exams and driving around a long stretch of road with my friends and it started the summer off perfectly. This song was perfect for the time of the year and the beat was so fun and upbeat, perfect tune.

9. Overdrive ft Ummet Ozcan: This is the song that will make fans go wild when they see this love, its a song that will get everyone on the dancefloor. I really really like this song and think it's pure EDM.

10. Ecstasy ft Hurts: Hurts adds another really strong vocal but this a pure ballad. There is not beat, it's very strange to hear this on a Harris album, I feel this belongs on Hurts record, more than Harris

11. Pray to God ft HAIM. The ladies vocals add something really slick to track, it is the perfect blend of their sound and Calvins, a really good combination from the two.

12. Open Wide ft Big Sean: Two Words, absolute Tune. Big Sean adds slick hip hop lyrics while Calvin works his magic. These two show how well the genres can mix when its don't

13. Together ft Gwen Stefanie: Gwens voice is so distinctive after all years, however there is no real magic between the pair. She suits EDM but this song it just not very strong and feels like a bit of a filler

14. Burnin ft R3hab: Another EDM track that brings two amazing EDM artiest together. I love it when Calvin does collaborations like this, it makes for a great tune.

15. Dollar Signs ft Tinashe: This was a good choice of Calvins part, he stuff sounds great but Tinashes voice is a bit forgettable. The music is great but the vocals are just a bit boring.

Overall: Calvin did not disappoint he has brought in some great people to work. He is always trying new sounds and mixing commercial tracks with more heavy EDM work. On this album it's no different. Some music snobs say he is commercial and not a real Producer, however this album tells a different story. Calvin gives a good mix for his fans and this will enter the race for number 1 in no time, the question is, where can he go from here?

Best Track: Outside: Pure magic, Ellie and Calvin are a lethal combination.

Worst Track: Together. A big disappointment. Gwen & Harris should have been great but her vocals fall flat, seems like such a waste.

Taylor 1989 Album Review

She's back, one of the biggest stars in Music is back with a new look, feel and sound. Taylor shocked us all with Shake it Off earlier this year and it is safe to say she's not pure country anymore. I loved Taylor's Stuff since her 2008 album Fearless but this is a complete new direction and unlike other crossover artiest she makes the transition to pop look so easy.

Welcome to New York: This is the perfect opener, it's upbeat, fun and a brilliant indication on who the New Taylor is.

Blank Space: This sounds a small bit like Lourd, its cool, relaxed and has she make fun of her "clingy girlfriend" reputation

Style: This has a bit of techno in it. The lyrics are clever and she is showing the makings of  a pure popstar on this track

Out of the Woods: This is not exactly my favorite, there's a lot of  repetition of lyrics, it's a bit dull

All You had to do Was Stay: This is a pure pop track but still got the autobiographical lyrics Taylor famous for, a strong track

Shake it  Off: So fun, so catch, this was the perfect first single to introduce the new Taylor to the world

I Wish You Would: So 80's, full of synth, I love it, perfect to listen to before heading out, one of my favorites off the album

Bad Blood: This sounds like she was influence by her friend Lourd, it is a little darker than usual Taylor, it's good though

Wildest Dream: This is haunting song, very deep, honest, pure Taylor

How You Get the Girl: This is another pop track, you can sing along but she is still upset with men

This Love: The first ballad, her voice sounds beautiful , I really liked this

I Know Places: This is not very memorable but still a good song, kind of underwhelming

Clean: This sounds so 90's, it's a chilled track but not the best pick for an album closer

Overall: I love this, it's a really strong album, full of rich lyrics. I love the new Taylor, it's a change but a nice change and she is a good popstar as well as a country star. This is a great offering from Taylor. She is going to continue her success and with stuff like this, she deserves it.

Kardashian Kollection: Review

The ladies are back on the High Street ready to let us dress like a Dash Doll at a reasonable price. Here a breakdown of the latest Kollection from the First Family of Reality TV.

The body con dress is back, I like the cutouts in the front and Burgundy is big for Winter. It will cost you €74

This midi dress is nice, simple and would look great on a night out but its a bit pricey for €83

This Shift dress has cool snakeskin detail and I like the belt but it's a bit much at €95

This is the standard leather midi and will cost you €51

I like this jumpsuit, I like the detail and the high neckline, it costs about €99 but it is one of my favorite pieces.

Another Jumpsuite, I think this is a bit done to be honest but it's €95 if you want it.

Ill be honest, I hate this, I think it's so frumpy and old but if you like it, the cost is €95

Honestly I really don't like this collection, it's just not very fashionable and I think we have seen it from the sisters before. I love the sisters and the style but this is a dud for me and I think for the prices they are charging, they need to step up their game.

Oscar De la Renta, Remember the King of High Fashion

It has been a week since iconic designers Oscar De la Renta passed, he was, in my opinion, the King of High Fashion. He knew how to make any woman look classic, elegant and beautiful, the master of the modern day Ballgown, his designs were graced by singers, actors and First Ladys.
Here is a look back at some of the best looks by the legendary designer. He was beloved by fashion lovers, stylish woman and red carpet watchers, Trained by Balaniciaga, working for Lanvin and Balmain, and launching his own line.
He was iconic, legendary and Brilliant, RIP Oscar, you will be missed.

VMA 2014: Fashion Review

Hey guys I know this blog has been dead for 2 months and I am so sorry, I am back now and ready for another batch of red carpet fashion, Here is my view on last nights carpet

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift: The star has decided to go kinda sexy but I don't think this is too out there, I like this on her, her legs are long and slim and why should she not show them off, I think she looks really cute and fun

Radiant: Kesha shimmered in a low-cut white gown with short train and sparkling gems sewn into the fabric as she attended the MTV VMAs on Sunday
Kesha: OMG she has never looked better, she looks incredible in this gorgeous dress but she she still kept her fun self with her rainbow hair, it;s great to her looking good and healthy

Smouldering temptress: Jennifer Lopez sizzled in a crisscrossing silvery gown that displayed her toned waist and shapely legs
J.Lo: She is 45 people 45! This is sexy OTT buy only JLO could pull this off, no one else should even try

Bubbly personalities: Lucy Hale certainly sparkled as she arrived to the MTV Video Music Awards at the Forum in Inglewood as did Poppy Jamie whose dress featured a lacy black and purple design
Lucy Hale: for some reason I'm not into this look, I usually love her style but the outfit is too dark and the skirt is too long for her height

Versatile fashion: Kim Kardashian, who was presenting at the VMAs, wore a deep-cut patterned number that looked similar to the more modestly worn one on Joan Smalls
Kim West: I love her but this dress is too low for my liking, This Balmain dress is gorgeous but I wish it was pulled a bit more together

Going vamp: While Kylie opted for silky black wrap dress, Kendall wore a sheer black top and black trousers that accentuated her tiny waist
Kylie Jenner: A 17 year old should not be wearing a bin bag, this is ill fitting and so drab

Going vamp: While Kylie opted for silky black wrap dress, Kendall wore a sheer black top and black trousers that accentuated her tiny waist
Kendall Jenner: 1 word, Boring! This is so dull, she could pull off something so much more exciting

Gwen Stefani: Her first VMA's in 9 years, she looks like the Gwen we know and love, I love this on her, it's fun but age appropriate, I love it

Beautiful in blue: Laverne Cox sparkled in her angled dress while Sarah Hyland and Julianne Hough were lovely in floor-length blue gowns
Sarah Hyland: I really like this, It's so 90's but I really like it, I love the color on her and the simple shoe is perfect
Star moment: Beyonce left little to the imagination in black lace dress that outlined her curvaceous physique
Beyonce: Bow Down Bitches!

'I feel sexy in it': Singer Charli XCX said she loved her tiger-striped jumpsuit that brought out her 'spirit animal'
Charlie XCX: I love this on her, it's fun wild and I love how she is having fun

Riveting in red: Bailey Buntain, Rita Ora, Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd heated up the carpet in their gloriously red dresses
Demi Lovato: She looks so sexy and hot here, unreal Demi, Unreal

Riveting in red: Bailey Buntain, Rita Ora, Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd heated up the carpet in their gloriously red dresses
Rita Ora, I love the dress but I hate the choker, I think it looks so cheap, no neckpiece would have been so much better

Fair ladies: Iggy Azalea was radiant in her strapless and exquisitely designed gown next to the equally dazzling Greer Grammer and Katie Stevens
Iggy Azalea: I love the Versace on her, it's glam and out there but it fits her like a glove

Inventive creations: Victoria Justice wore a white crop top and high-low ruffled leather skirt while Jourdan Dunn and Nina Dobrev created heatwaves of their own
Jordan Dunn looked sleek and sexy in this Balmain creation, I like it but I would have loved a pop pf color

Inventive creations: Victoria Justice wore a white crop top and high-low ruffled leather skirt while Jourdan Dunn and Nina Dobrev created heatwaves of their own
Nina Dobrev: Usually I love her style but this looks really cheap but the shoes are stunning

Inventive creations: Victoria Justice wore a white crop top and high-low ruffled leather skirt while Jourdan Dunn and Nina Dobrev created heatwaves of their own
Victoria Justice: I kinda like this combo, the skirt is a bit risky but I think it works and I love the hashtag bag!

Miley Cyrus: I think she looks edgy but still stylish, I really like this on her and she looks great here

Near naked: Amber Rose showed off much of her voluptuous form in a revealing creation
Amber Rose, Rose McGowan did this in the 90's so It did not have the shock factor that I think she was hoping for, been done

A daring look: The Sam & Cat star made quite the departure from her vintage-inspired dresses in her sexy leather number
Ariana Grande: I'mm not buying the sexy leather badass look, She has gone for cute to wannabe sexy so fast, this is too much, nope Arina

Animal attraction: Nicki Minaj certainly turned heads in that leopard print number while Cynthia Watros went with a sparkly zebra pattern
Nicki Minaj: I love this on her, animal prints ans sequins should not work but it does on her

Beautiful in blue: Laverne Cox sparkled in her angled dress while Sarah Hyland and Julianne Hough were lovely in floor-length blue gowns
Lavern Cox: The OITNB star looked fierce in this dress, fabulous
